Jamison Square Park

Located at NW 11th Avenue and Johnson, this park opened to the public in 2000. Highly popular with kids and families, Jamison Square Park is best known for its unique fountain. Modeled after a shallow tidal pool, water cascades from stone joints into low pools as the fountain continuously recirculates treated water with energy efficient pumps and motors. The park’s numerous benches make this an especially popular spot during lunchtime, summer evenings and on weekends. Look for “Rico Pasado,” a sleek red granite bear by artist Mauricio Saldaña (donated by the Portland Pearl Rotary Club) and the whimsical “tiki totems” by artist Kenny Scharf (donated by Pearl Arts Foundation).
