In this workshop, we will review stress and its effects on the immune system. You will learn about diet, protocols for immunity and mental health-boosting during this pandemic. Dr. Rubiales, Naturopathic Physician and Acupuncturist, will present the facts on our current situation supported by the medical community and holistic approaches to prevention. Sheila Walty, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, will explore the option of viewing this current quarantine as a gift of time and personal retreat wherein your goals, habits, and fears can be reset in a way that prepares you to step out of this tragedy and into a new reality. Together, Laura and Sheila will walk you through a guided meditation to instill these concepts at a deeper level empowering you to incorporate them into your daily life.
